The garden is 6 acres - with wide lawnpaths linking each area together with rhododendrons, camellias, thousands of annuals, perennials roses and a huge area dedicated to NZ natives surrounding Ted's pond.

With a backdrop of the Southern Alps, Rakaia Weddings Gardens is set on the Canterbury Plains, New Zealand.
We are 65 kilometers south of Christchurch International Airport.

Rakaia Weddings is a working dairy farm with 1400 cows - milked on a seasonal basis with calf feeding from August to September. Mt Hutt - best skiing & snowboarding - June to October.
